Ingredients for the Meatballs
• 2 Pounds of Hamburger
• 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped Onion
• 1 Clove of Minced Garlic
• 2 Tablespoons Parsley
• 1 Teaspoon Oregano
• ½ Teaspoon Basil
• ¾ Teaspoon Salt
• 1 Pinch of Pepper
• 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
• 1 Whole Egg
• Cooking Oil
Making the Meatballs
• Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix together well until everything is combined. Then shape the mixture into 1 ½ inch meatballs. Place on a plate as they wait to be cooked.
• Put a tablespoon or two of cooking oil in the bottom of a frying pan and turn your burner on medium heat. Set meatballs 1 inch or more apart in the pan. Brown meatballs thoroughly and then set them on a clean plate.
• Once all the meatballs are browned it is time to make the sauce and boil the noodles. Take this time to put the water on to boil according to the directions on your pasta package. Once finished drizzle with olive oil and place back in the pot with a lid to keep warm.
